Addendum to “Comparative Law as Marketing Tool”

Since writing Comparative Law as Marketing Tool, I came across two additional articles related to the brochure Law – Made in Germany that I would like to share:

  1. In their article Judicial Services for Global Commerce – Made in Germany? [in English], published in the February edition of the German Law Journal, the authors Calliess and Hoffmann discuss the current competition among countries to attract commercial court cases.
  2. Based on such competition among the legal systems of the world, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) Online in its article Auf nach Transsystemien [in German], examines the role of universities … and stresses the increasing importance of comparative law survey courses!
